We work on behalf of people with disabilities to combat all forms of discrimination, abuse and neglect through monitoring, investigations and legal action.
We support people with disabilities of all ages in order to advance individual rights and create systems change that focuses on community integration and quality of life.
We provide people with disabilities the tools, resources and assistance that empower them to exercise maximum independence and self-determination.
We want to shine a light on the incredible law firms and businesses that supported Race Judicitata 2025! Your generosity made this event possible and we are inspired to see you rally behind this cause, in support of the disability community. Your support enables us to keep protecting, empowering, and advocating for Louisianians with disabilities every day. We cannot thank you enough!
Our hearts are full after this Sunday, when over 200 people came together to run, raise funds, and show their support for Disability Rights Louisiana at Race Judicata 2025! Thanks to the hard work of the law students who volunteered to organize this 5k charity event, the generosity of the event sponsors, and the individuals who registered, over $12,000 was raised to support our work.
This is the third year that Race Judicata has benefited DRLA, and it has doubled in size each year—a testament to the tireless work of the law students from Loyola, Tulane, and LSU Law who, year-after-year, have taken the initiative to organize and host this major event in order to support our services that protect, empower, and advocate for people with disabilities across our state.
The student organizers, the sponsors, and all of the participants have helped us raise funds to reach more people who need our support.
Race Judicata is almost here! Have you signed up yet?
We are beyond grateful to the law students from Loyola, LSU, and Tulane Law who have joined forces and volunteered so much time and hard work to organize this 5k charity event to raise funds in support of our work.
Please join us on Sunday, March 30th at Audubon Park for the 5k. Afterwards, we'll celebrate together at Loyola’s Broadway Activities Center with great food, drinks, and stories about the impact you’ve made!
