Disability Rights Louisiana Announces Voting Accessibility Hotline for Early Voting and Election Day
NEW ORLEANS, LA — Disability Rights Louisiana (DRLA) encourages voters across Louisiana to contact its voting hotline if they experience accessibility barriers or issues during early voting or on Election Day for the November 2026 election.
Early voting takes place October 20–27, 2026, excluding Sunday, October 25. During the early voting period, DRLA’s voting hotline will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The hotline will also be available on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Voters can call or text: (504) 434-4680
The hotline will accept reports of accessibility concerns and barriers experienced by voters throughout Louisiana. DRLA encourages voters with disabilities, older voters, and any voter experiencing barriers to contact the hotline for support and information.
Every eligible voter deserves equal access to the ballot box. Our goal is to help ensure that voters across Louisiana can cast their ballots safely, independently, and with dignity.
