Work Incentives Planning & Assistance (WIPA)

Disability Rights Louisiana’s (DRLA) WIPA program provides free assistance to beneficiaries of Social Security disability benefits who are working or want to work. DRLA’s WIPA program provides comprehensive benefits counseling and work incentives planning to help beneficiaries make informed decisions and understand how earnings from work may affect their benefits.

WIPA can show you that work and benefits don't have to be mutually exclusive. In many cases, it is possible to work and keep your Medicaid or Medicare. If you receive SSI benefits, you will always come out ahead when working even if your benefits are reduced. Let WIPA show you how.
