Education

We work to reduce incidences of inappropriate discipline and illegal exclusions from public schools, obtain appropriate transition services, and expand educational access

  • We serve students with disabilities in public elementary and secondary education who are inappropriately disciplined or illegally excluded in violation of procedural safeguards and/or substantive protections guaranteed under IDEA and Section 504.
  • We help students with disabilities who need appropriate transition services necessary to facilitate the student’s movement from school to post-school activities including continuing education and competitive employment.
  • Through the lack of assistive technology or appropriate related services, some students with disabilities are unable to access the educational curriculum in the public setting. We work to ensure that students have the assistive technology and related services that they need.
