We work to ensure that people with disabilities and seniors have access to necessary healthcare and long-term supports and services that will allow them to remain in their homes or return to their home communities.
We also work to ensure that people with developmental disabilities who are waiver recipients have appropriate home and community-based services that meet their needs.
Our target population is Medicaid-eligible children and adults with disabilities who need adequate home- and community-based services, primary care, behavioral health services or other health care in order to live safely and successfully in their homes and in the community.
We also advocate for people with developmental disabilities living in Supported Living and other similar situations in parishes served by Metropolitan Human Services District, Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority, or Capitol Area Human Services District.
