CLOP assisted a group home resident in his 30s. He had been trying to get services to live in the community for over 8 years, and did not think it was ever going to happen.
The CLOP Ombudsman investigated and uncovered that he actually had already qualified for a waiver. With support from his CLOP Ombudsman, on February 1, 2021 he finally moved into his own place, with waiver supports. He looks forward to enjoying more independence, having friends over, and a place of his own to call home.
