A staff member at a small community home called the CLOP Ombudsman and sent pictures reporting there was no food in the home, and that the residents complained of not getting their allowance. The CLOP Ombudsman visited the residents at the home on the front porch. The residents said that sometimes staff personally purchased food for the home and or gave them money to purchase cigarettes or cigars because the residents were not receiving their weekly allowance. A complaint was filed with Health Standards and as a result, an adequate amount of food was purchased for the home and the residents received their weekly allowance.
