Disability Rights Louisiana (DRLA) helps people with disabilities in many different ways.

Here are four of our programs that may be able to help you:

Our CAP Program helps people with disabilities who want to work. We help people get the training and equipment they need to be able to work. The CAP team helps people use the state’s LRS system to make sure they are getting the help they need. We can help anyone who lives in Louisiana.

The CLOP program visits people who live in group homes. Our CLOP team members make visits make sure the residents are doing okay, and to make sure they know their rights. CLOP works in every part of Louisiana.

The SILAP program helps people who are on the NOW, ROW, Supports, and Children’s Choice Waivers. SILAP helps people solve problems. SILAP advocates make sure that the support coordinator and workers know the person’s wants and needs. This program is only in these Parishes: Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, Plaquemines, Ascension, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, and Iberville.

The FAIR program helps people with disabilities who have been in prison or jail try to get a job. Our FAIR team helps people find housing, doctors, training, and jobs. This program is only for people who live in Orleans Parish and Jefferson Parish.
